RAJOURI, Feb 8: The police nabbed two drug- peddlers along with a consignment of Charas in Solki area of Rajouri last evening.
Official sources said that Dhramsal police team deployed at Solki Check post intercepted two persons namely, Mohd Safeer, son of Mohd Sharief, resident of Kharak and Rajan Gupta, son of Raj Kumar, hailing from Kalakote.
They were traveling on motorcycle No. JK11E/ 0248 towards Kalakote from Siot. During frisking 18 packs of Charas (chhaliyan), were recovered from their possession. They were arrested and subsequently, an FIR No. 17/2021 u/S 8/20 NDPS Act was lodged against them at Police Station, Dharamsal. Further, investigation was in progress.
