JAMMU, June 11: On 117th birth anniversary of Ram Prasad Bismil, NSUI organized a function at Jammu University for paying tributes to the martyr.
Dean Students Welfare Prof Pankaj Shrivastav was the chief guest on the occasion while Nitin Bakshi, NSUI president of JU unit, presided over the function.
While paying tributes to Ram Prasad Bismil, speakers threw light on the life and supreme sacrifice of the freedom fighter for the country. They appealed the youth to follow the path shown by the great leaders and freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives.
Others, who spoke on the occasion, included Kamal Magotra, Naseeb Ali and Ajay Kumar who said that the need of the hour is to inject the spirit of nationalism into the nerves of today’s young generation.
