JAMMU Sept 3: A large number of National Secular Forum (NSF) activists today protested against the Police Department for their failure in providing security to the girl who has been teased and harassed by a mini bus driver, here.
Dr Vikas Sharma, president National Secular Forum has taken a strong note of the incident in which one of the girl of Women’s college was teased and harassed by the mini bus driver in the heart of the city which made the girl to take extreme step of consuming poison.
Meanwhile, NSF has appealed to the Chief Minister to hold an enquiry into the incident.
Among others who where present in the protest included Surjit Choudhary, Sukhdev Singh, Ravi Choudhary, Chiman Singh, Balvir Kumar and Sunil Kumar.
