Investors protest, move to police for money

RAJOURI, Sept 3:  A large number of  investors from Manjakot area of district Rajouri, who have invested their money in  a private concern, Vikrant Finance Co. today lodged  protest and then moved to district police for help.
These hapless villagers are moving from pillar to post to get their money back from the company. Today nearly 150 investors from this area first held protest demonstration here and then moved to senior police officials at the district headquarters for help. They narrated their woes and sought action against the company owners/ managers for duping them.
For the last nearly one week, the people from Rajouri area are staging protests and demanding money. The police has been going slow into the matter and only providing assurances to the investors regarding the recovery. The police said that they have summoned  one of the owners of the company, Kewel Koul while two other partners, Rakesh Gupta and Ashwani Kumar are yet to be summoned for  questioning in this regard.
It has been learnt that an amount of nearly Rs 10 crore has been invested by the people in the company and the investors are being denied their money.
