Talking to the media persons here today, NSF leader Surjit Choudhary alleged that the Examination wing of JU was taking four to six months in declaring results of 10 to 15 students in an era of computerization.
While substantiating his claims through a RTI reply, Choudhary said that a total of 14 students appeared in Semester Ist exam of M Sc Biotechnology on December 17 last but the result was still awaited even after lapse of more than four months. “Similarly, 11 students appeared for Semester Ist exam of PG Biochemistry on December 17 but the varsity has yet to announce the results,” he added.
The NSF leader further said that there were a total of 12 and 13 students who appeared in Microbiology and Biotechnology subjects for Ist and third semesters respectively but the university failed to declare the result of Microbiology subject till date while the result of Biotechnology was declared on April 17 only. Interestingly, all these departments are headed by none other than Controller of Examination Professor Manoj K Dhar himself, he said.
