JAMMU, Jan 1: As a matter of pride, Nrityashree Deepak Dutta, a renowned classical performer of Jammu Kashmir UT has been entitled with Tulsi Icon Award for his contribution towards environmental projects.
The Award was bestowed upon him by Green India Parivar Research Foundation (GIPRF) from West Champaran Bihar, (place from where Mahatma Gandhi started Satyagraha).
Son of Shashi and Vinod Dutta, Nrityashree Deepak Dutta remained associated with GIPRF during lockdown period and attended their events virtually. He also motivated students and others to plant more and more trees to save Mother Earth from pollution with his theme based dance performances.
Nrityashree is presently working as dance expert in Army Public School Miran Sahib.
