RAJOURI, Jan 1: A VDC member committed suicide by using his gun in Kalakote area of district Rajouri last night.
The deceased has been identified as Yash Paul (28), son of Amrit Paul, resident of Panoti village in Kalakote. The family sources said that Yash was frustrated for the last some time due to his economic condition. He shot himself during last night using his gun.
His body was shifted to CHC Kalakote for postmortem and later handed over to the family for last rites today. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
