KATHUA, May 3: An Industrial unit dealing with electrical goods known as NR Industries at Industrial Estate Hatli Morh, Kathua perished in devastating fire today.
As per reports, the loss of lakhs of rupees occurred in the fire. The fire broke out from upstairs when the workers were busy in working. Fortunately no one was injured in the fire and all workers came out of the unit safely. A fire tender reached on the spot and extinguished the fire timely so that it could not spread to the another complex. But the loss of lakhs of rupees occurred as huge quantity of electronic goods were destroy in the fire said a worker Shanker Kumar.
He said the other worker sighted the smoke coming out of upstairs of factory. The workers tried to dose the fire but all in vain. A fire tender was called and timely action saved the heavy loss of property.
