JAMMU, May 25: Demanding action against Police officials who had allegedly assaulted former Minister Harsh Dev Singh, NPP leaders and activists today held protest demonstrations at various places.
The protests were held in Jammu, Udhampur, Ghordi, Ramnagar, Chenani besides other places. They also torched effigies of SHO Udhampur.
These protests were held under the leadership of Ram Pal Sharma and Mohit Mankotia (at Jammu), Neelam Kumari, BDC Chairperson of Parli Dhar (at Ramnagar), Shankaar Singh Sanju, Pawan Sharma, Baldev Singh and Balwan Singh (at Chenani).
They sought justice to the NPP leader and early arrest of Udhampur police officers responsible for the ‘shameless’ conduct.
