JAMMU, Jan 12: Return and rehabilitation issue of Kashmiri Pandits was deliberated in detail in the second day seminar organized by National Peace Movement (NPM) at Constitution Club New Delhi.
The day long function on its first day was presided over by Lt Gen (retd) Pran Kaul and attended by over 100 prominent KPs and leaders of various social organizations.
M K Koul president NPM initiated the deliberations. The speakers while discussing the aspects of resettlement of KPs to their native land have appreciated the view point of having Satellite township in the Valley as proposed by the present Government headed by Narendra Modi.
The participants complimented the NPM to hold series of seminars in such cities of the country where there is more concentration of KPs. They said that through these seminars maximum views can be obtained from the community brethren on formulating a roadmap for return of KPs to Valley.
Those who spoke in the seminar included Gautam Koul ex DG ITBP, Col (retd) T K Tickoo, Sanjay Saraf, Sunil Shakdhar, Dr Romesh Raina, S K Ambardar, Kamal Hak, Subodh Mukoo, Sushma Bhan and Reeta Raina.
