KARGIL, Nov 11: The non-local employees, hailing from Jammu and Kashmir UT, here today staged a protest demonstration outside the Press Club of Kargil demanding their transfer to J&K UT after Ladakh became a separate UT of India.
Many of these employees from NHM, Health, Education and other departments gathered outside Press Club Kargil and staged a protest demonstration.
They appealed to the LG and also to the Government of India to look into their demand as they have already completed their mandatory tenure of three-four years serving in Kargil-Ladakh.
They claimed that after the UT formation no action on their request has been taken so far and most of them are facing health and domestic problems.
