JAMMU, Mar 27: Expressing grave concern over the inordinate delay in submitting the recommendations regarding redressal of all pay anomalies in 7th pay commission voiced by the various categories of the Central Government employees, National Mazdoor Conference (NMC) appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to direct the concerned high powered committee to expedite their recommendations at the earliest, so that confusion and uncertainty prevailing among Central and State Governments employees on this issue could come to an end.
Addressing NMC meet, President of the Conference Subash Shastri pointed out that the recommendations of the 7th pay commission have to be implemented from January 1, 2016 but due to delay in finalizing the fresh recommendations, the lot of dissent and concern is being expressed by the salaried class for continuing delay in genuine redressal of the grievances.
Shastri urged PM to intervene into the matter so that notification can be issued accordingly.
Among others present were Rajan Babu Khajuria, BS Jamwal, Sunil Kochhar, Darshan Bawa, Surinder Kumar, Sukhdev Singh, Sudesh Bhagat, Mohammad Shafi, Raghupal, Ashok Kumar, etc.
