Nirankari Mission organizes Blood Donation Camp

KATHUA, Oct 2: Sant Nirankari Mandal here today organized a voluntarily blood donation camp at Sant Nirankari Satsang Bhawan Kathua.
The camp was inaugurated by Choudhary Rajinder Singh Babby, President Municipal Council Kathua who while speaking on the occasion said that Sant Nirankari Mission (SNM) is working towards the welfare of humankind selflessly.
Ajit Singh, SNM Zonal Incharge Jammu said that Baba Hardev Singh Ji gave the message that our ‘blood should flow in veins and not in drains’ so followers of the Mission are always ready to render their selfless services to society.
“From time to time our Mission organizes cleanliness campaigns, tree plantation drives, free eye checkup camps, medical camps etc to help people,” he maintained.
Babu Ram, Sanyojak Kathua welcomed all and presented the vote of thanks.
Dignitaries present on the occasion were Dr. Shallu, Blood Bank GMC Jammu; Dr. Sonia, Blood Bank GMC Kathua; Om Prakash, Indian Red Cross Society Kathua and others.
The camp was held in collaboration with Blood & Transfusion Department of GMC Jammu, GMC Kathua, Indian Red Cross Society and JKSACS and 141 Units of Blood were collected.
