JAMMU, Dec 29: RCC slab over parking slot adjoining Shree Guru Ravidass Ji temple in Kabir Colony, Ward No. 40, Talab Tillo under Assembly constituency Jammu West was laid today.
The work was started by Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) councilor from Ward 40, Neelam Nargotra along with J&K BJP media in charge, Dr. Pardeep Mahotra in presence of party leaders and department officials, Kishore Kumar (Executive Engineer, JMC ), B.K. Raina (J.E JMC ), supervisor JMC and others.
BJP district president, SC Morcha, Yash Pal Shivgotra, district media secretary, Arun Dubey, Mandal secretaries, Paramjeet Ravinder and Rahul Nargotra, social worker, Abhishek Sharma, Harish Datta, president Shree Guru Ravidas Sabha, Puran Chand and team were also present on the occasion.
Neelam Nargotra while inaugurating the RCC slab work said that this covered parking space in Talab Tillo Ward 40 will help the local people. She said that this space will be available for the use of common masses and will also help the people for the parking of their vehicles in community programmes. She said that this work is initiated with the an estimate cost of Rs 30 lakh under Capex Budget (Councillor Funds).
Dr. Pardeep Mahotra said that this RCC slab will be of multipurpose use to especially those living in vicinity of the locality. He said that in view of the community programmes being continuously held in the Sabha, the visitors had to face hardships especially in extreme hot or humid weathers and this slab will now provide a big relief to those along with the people of the locality as the vehicles parked there will not cause any chaos.
