JAMMU, Aug 1: Nav Durga Kala Manch organised a dancing and singing competition titled “The Stars Battle” Punjab vs Jammu at Abhinav Theatre, Jammu.
The stars was directed by Ashu Kotwal and choreographed by Nikhil Singh Manhas.
A total of 30 participants who were selected after the prelims auditions held at various places in both the States exhibited their talents.
On the occasion, Karan Sat Sharma, Youth President BJYM, was the chief guest, who inaugurated the competition by lighting the ceremonial lamp along with M L Babbar, Chairman ACM Public School, who presided over the function as guest of honour.
Sapna Soni, renowed TV and Theatre Artist, Parvesh Malhotra, Ruhi Babbar, Nirmal Babbar, Ashish Babbar and Surinder Singh were special guests.
The judges of the finale were Sunil Sharma, Anuradha Sharma, Neena Dutta and Aaditya Bhanu.
In dancing, Vanshika was adjudged as winner, where as second and third positions were clinched by Arya Khanna and Aastha in solo category.
In duet, Pratyush and Krishnan were adjudged as winner where as Anshuman and Khanna bagged second prize and third prize was bagged by Saloni and Kavya.
In Group Category, Rajwinder and Group from Punjab was adjudged as winner where as Manya and Group and Ricky and Group bagged second and third prize respectively.
In singing, Bhupinder Singh clinched first position, whereas second and third positions were secured by Parth from Jammu and Roshandeep Kour from Punjab respectively.
The event was Managed by Ankush Bhasin, Step Up Dance Academy, and Sameer Sharma.
The show was beautifully anchored by renowned anchor Rajni Anubhav.
