JAMMU, Mar 7: A delegation of Non Camp Migrant Organization (NCMO) headed by M K Yogi, working president NC Minority Cell met Minister of State with independent charge of Revenue, Relief and Rehabilitation, Aijaz Ahmed Khan and discussed the various issues pertaining to migrants with them.
The delegation apprised him of various issues and also discussed the allotment of quarters with him. It demanded that undue transfers may not be made in Relief Organization.
The Minister assured them that he will look into the points brought in his notice by them and no unjustified transfer will be made.
The delegation also met provincial president NC, Kashmir, Nasir Aslam Wani and discussed the issue with him threadbare.
Later the delegation met Vijay Bakaya, NC MLC and discussed the problems of rented migrants with him and demanded that all migrants putting up in rented accommodations be provided quarters.
Mr Bakaya assured them that he will take up the issue with the Chief Minister.
The delegation of the NC Cell and NCMO led by Mr Yogi, Nana Ji Dembi and accompanied by others called on Relief Commissioner and urged him to expedite the allotment process of quarters.
