NC leader tours flood affected areas of Samba

JAMMU, Sept 11: Senior NC leader and party candidate from Samba, Satwant Kaur Dogra today toured flood affected villages of Purmandal, Nud, Sumb and Samba blocks of Samba Assembly Constituency to take stock of the people’s grievances.
Kaur interacted with the affected families and assured them that Omar led Government is working hard to ensure that all flood affected families could get immediate relief and rehabilitation services.
After taking stock of the situation, she met district administration officials including DC, ADC, and ACR and apprised them of the situation.
She said that hundreds of houses have been damaged fully or partially due to floods which damaged thousands of acres of crop, various roads and culverts, a portion of bridge and power and water supply system.
The NC leader appealed the district administration to assess the losses immediately so that the affected families could be compensated.
She appealed people to register their complaint at the recently established Public Grievance Cell at District Complex, Samba with a dedicated phone number 01923-219093 for early redressal of their grievances.
