SRINAGAR, May 30: National Conference (NC) today lambasted the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) calling them a group of opportunist politicians.
This was stated by NC provincial president Nasir Aslam Wani while addressing a workers convention at Kokernag.
He said that Mufti’s sudden visit after four and half years to Anantnag not only shows his frustration but also their opportunistic politics that they can take people for a ride, adding that these leaders lack credibility, morality, ethics and integrity.
For four and a half years they were enjoying their lavish lifestyle and now as the elections are near they have started showing their faces, he alleged.
He added that NC always worked to unite people, be it urban or rural, region or religion, adding that “PDP is based on treachery and deceit”, he said.
“People will show them their right place and teach them a lesson that they can no longer play with their sentiment and emotions”, he added.
Cautioning people of their nefarious designs, he said dividing people in the name of urban and rural has been their handiwork to gain votes, he said.
