Voice of KPs discuss demands

JAMMU, May 30:   Voice of KPs in a meeting at Jagti held under the chairmanship of Roshan Lal Raina discussed various problems confronted by Jagti inmates.
Ravinder Raina president VKPs expressed his grave concern over the silence of Government in providing the electricity to the camp. He accused the Government of the present problems in the camp saying that it has been maintaining criminal silence over the problems of the people putting up in the Jagti camp.
He said the Government is encouraging some self styled leaders in the camp who are behind the present problems.
Vinod Tickoo convener VKPs expressed his grave concern over the lawlessness in the township and asked the authorities to come with open mind to redress the problems of these hapless people. He said increase in temperature coupled with the 18 hour power cut in the Jagti camp has led to the increasing death rate. He urged the Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah, Relief, Revenue and Rehabilitation Minister, Aijaz Ahmed Khan and relief authorities to look into the problems of the Jagti camp immediately.
Others who addressed the meeting included R L Fotedar, Shesh Nag, Moti Lal Dhar, Munoo Ji, S N Bandari and Subash.
