Natural beauty of Kashmir at risk if master plan not enforced: Governor

SRINAGAR: Expressing concern that natural beauty of the Kashmir Valley has the risk of being wiped out if laws are not strictly implemented, Governor N N Vohra today stressed the need for effective implementation of steps to secure decongestion of cities.

The Governor express concern to Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development, Social Welfare, Health & Medical Education Asiea Naqash who met him at Raj Bhavan here today.

He observed that unless the Master Plans and Building Bye-Laws were not strictly enforced the natural beauty of the Valley has the risk of being wiped out in the coming years. (AGENCIES)
