Natrang stages ‘Nakli Deewar’

JAMMU, Sept 30: Natrang staged new Hindi play “Nakli Deewar” written by Pratap Sehgal and directed by Anil Tickoo in its weekly theatre show.
The play started with the siblings Puneet and Gunjan who are alone in house because their parents Kamal and Indu are out for the evening.
Meanwhile Puneet starts smoking and Gunjan gets shocked when she saw Puneet smoking. It is revealed that Gunjan was undergoing treatment for a psychological condition called “alienation” and it turns out that evening their parents were out to visit their family doctor.
Doctor holds both Kamal and Indu responsible specially Kamal for the condition of Gunjan.
Gunjan gets a panic attack and seeing his sister in such condition, Puneet promised not to smoke ever again.
After doctor leaves, Kamal feels sorry for his negligence towards their kids and tells Puneet that every evening they used to go out because they were looking for a decent flat to live in. Puneet then assures his father than he is fully capable to take responsibility of his life and everything else.
Artists who performed in the play included Rohitashiv Sharma as Kamal, Sajra Qadir as Indu, Shivam Manhas as Puneet, Sakshi Prakash as Gunjan and Antriksh Jandial as Doctor.
The lights were designed and executed by Rohit Verma, sound by Uplaksh Singh Kotwal. Mohd Yaseen erected sets, show was anchored by Rahul Singh and coordinated by Sumeet Sharma.
