JAMMU, May 15: This year’s Dinoo Bhai Pant Memorial Life Time Achievement Award will be given to veteran Dogri writer and a multifaceted personality in the field of art, Narsingh Dev Jam-wal.
This was announced jointly by Dr. Manoj Sharma, Chairperson, Dinoo Bhai Pant Memorial Trust and Prof. Lalit Magotra, President Dogri Sanstha, Jammu.
This prestigious Award is given annually. The earlier recipients of this coveted Award include Padma Sachdev and Ved Rahi.
A handout stated that the Award ceremony will be held on May 24, 2019 at Abhinav Theatre.
The Award carries a cash prize of Rs 51,000, a medallion, a shawl and citation.
The Award has been instituted by the Dinoo Bhai Pant Memorial Trust, run by the family of Late Dinoo Bhai Pant and is given under the aegis of Dogri Sanstha Jammu.
