Narco smuggler nabbed with heroin

JAMMU, Sept 4: Satwari and Chatha Police jointly nabbed a narcotics smuggler and recovered 21.54 grams of heroin from his possession.
As per police sources, on specific information a team from Police Station Satwari led by SHO Inspector Sameer Jiilani and assisted by Incharge Police Post Chatha SI Ranjit Singh Chib under the supervision of SDPO South Sachit Sharma intercepted a person, who was moving under suspicious circumstances.
During checking, police team recovered 21.54 grams heroin from the possession of the person and arrested him.
The arrested person was identified as Bikramjeet Singh alias Vicky, son of Ujagar Singh, a resident of Ward Number 1 Bhour Camp District Jammu.
A case under FIR Number 163/2022 under section 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Satwari and investigation started.
