JAMMU, Sept 10: The Nag Panchmi was celebrated with religious fervour and gaiety across Jammu region today with devotees visiting the Nag and Shiv temples to pay obeisance and perform special pooja.
In Jammu main function was held at Billo Mandir Panjtirthi where devotees mainly women performed special pooja of Nag Devta and offered milk to them.
The pooja was also performed in other Nag temples and Shiv temples across the region with devotees offering milk to Nag Devtas.
In Kathua district the functions were held in various Nag temples. The main functions were held in Nag temples of Ward No 10, Ward 6 and Ghalak Nag temple near Ding Amba.
A large number of devotees attended these functions and performed pooja archna of Nag Devtas.
