JAMMU, Aug 24: Mushroom Development Scheme Jammu, dedicated to promotion of round the year mushroom cultivation in the Jammu Division, organized a comprehensive three-day training programme, which concluded today.
Training programmed was attended by a number of participants from various back grounds, including farmers, agriculturists and aspiring entrepreneurs. The 3- day training was carefully designed to equip individuals with an in-depth understanding of mushroom cultivation techniques and potential benefits associated with the Industry under the guidance of experts.
K K Sharma, Director of Agriculture Jammu, presided over the valedictory function and appreciated the youngsters, famers, retired professionals from Govt. services to have urban mushroom cultivation concept in their homes.
Certificate of participation were provided to all the participants. Sanjay Dhar, Mushroom Development Officer Jammu presented formal vote of thanks and promised to conduct more training programmes for rural educated youth in early months.
Kamaljeet Sharma, SMS-II; S Bhupinder Singh and Mohan Singh provided logistic support.
The Mushroom Development Scheme aims to empower local farmers, un-employed educated youth and retired professionals for unban mushroom cultivation by providing them with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in mushroom cultivation.
