KATHUA, Sept 20: A mega multi-specialty health camp was organized in the premises of Learning Temple English Medium High School, here today.
The camp was organized by Dr. K.D. Singh, Multispecialty Hospital Jammu in collaboration with the management of the School, which was inaugurated by Dr Bharat Bhushan, Chief Executive Officer, IWMP, J&K.
Former Chairman of Lakhanpur Municipal Committee, Ravinder Sharma, Naresh Kumar, Director of the School, president Rang Bhumi Kathua, Sudhir Mahajan, Dr JP Singh, senior ophthalmologist of KD Super Specialty, Advocate Kirti Bhushan and Dr Vishal Malager besides others were present in the inaugural event.
Dr Bharat Bhushan in his brief address appreciated the Dr KD Singh Multispecialty Hospital for organizing free medical camp in Kathua and expressed hope that the organizer will continue to help the ailing masses in future too.
He also lauded the management of Learning Temple School and Sudhir Mahajan for taking lead in the organization of the first of its kind mega health camp in Kathua.
A team of ten specialists belonging to Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology, Medicine, Gynecology, Surgery and Cardiology examined more than 450 patients and provided them free consultation and medicines. The students of the School on the occasion organized an exhibition to elucidate the benefits of Yoga, balanced diet, exercise and organic food.
