JAMMU, Apr 30: Mission Statehood Jammu Kashmir (MSJK) activists here today staged a protest demonstration under the leadership of their president, Sunil Dimple, against the rising unemployment among the educated youths in J&K.
Addressing the protesters, Dimple claimed that all the recruitment processes have been stopped in J&K and forms were filled for the posts of Police Sub Inspectors and Naib Tehsildar in April 2024, but no written test or interview has been conducted so far.
He further said that JKSSB and PSC are responsible for the rising unemployment among the J&K educated youths.
The MSJK leader further said that unemployment has pushed the youth into mental stress.
“The Chief Minister should direct the recruitment agencies of J&K to immediately fill up the vacant posts in different departments,” he maintained adding that there are about 8300 vacant posts of teachers in Government schools of J&K.
Dimple also demanded regularisation of seasonal teachers, SPOs, daily wagers and other such employees.
Narinder Chowdhary, Baba Gupta, Rocky Kapoor, Sunny, Sanjeev, Ashok Sharma and many others were also present in the protest.
