Kishtwar, Apr 30: Sewa Bharti Kishtwar today organized a seminar on the theme “Adarsh Parivar (Value-Based Family)” with the objective of promoting strong family values and fostering a culture of mutual respect, responsibility, and harmony within society.
The seminar witnessed the participation of students from different schools, members and social workers .
Reknowned educationsit of Kishtwar Ram Sewak Sharma presided over the function and Retd Prof Surinder Sen was the guest of honour . Participants highlighted the role of an ideal family in shaping responsible citizens and building a strong nation.
Emphasis was laid on key aspects such as respect for elders, moral upbringing of children, gender equality, and the importance of communication and understanding among family members. The speakers also encouraged participants to adopt value-based living in their daily lives to strengthen the social fabric.
The programme concluded with a collective resolve to work towards nurturing “Adarsh Parivar” in society and spreading awareness about the significance of value-based families. Pradesh Karykarini Sadasy Kewal Krishan Sharma and other Sr members of Sewa Bharti also graced the occasion.
