JAMMU, June 8: Mission Statehood Jammu Kashmir (MSJK) activists here today staged a protest demonstration against the fresh hike in the prices of domestic LPG cylinders and frequent hike in petrol, diesel and commercial LPG prices.
The protest was led by MSJK president, Sunil Dimple, who claimed that there is acute shortage of LPG cylinders in the market and in black market domestic LPG cylinders are being sold at Rs. 2000 and commercial at Rs. 4000.
He said that rise in domestic cylinders’ prices has hit the kitchen budget of the ladies and the common man is finding it hard to feed his family.
The MSJK leader demanded roll back of the hiked prices of domestic and commercial LPG gas cylinders.
He also flayed the Government for increased prices of milk and milk products.
Vipan, Mukesh, Ram Kumar, Rakesh Sharma, Bishan, Rocky, Vicky, Shafi Khan, Akbar Khan, Nazir and many others were also present in the protest.
