SAMBA, Nov 26: A motor cycle was stolen in Sangwali Mandi here which was parked outside the residential house by its owner.
The owner of motorcycle JK21E – 9716, Shubham Sambyal, son Rajkumar Singh said that as usual he parked his bike outside the house but as soon as he woke up in the morning he was shocked to see that the bike was not there. Even after a lot of searching in the locality, he could not trace it any where and later a complaint was lodged in the Police Station, Samba in this regard.
The police have registered a case and started search of the two wheeler, he said. A local resident Chotu Singh said that along with the increasing drug addiction in Samba, cases of thefts are also increasing day by day. Suspecting the hand of drug addicts in the bike lifting, he demanded that police should tight its noose on drug addicts and eradicate this increasing menace from the society.
