JAMMU, Apr 7: Mother of National Conference leader and Minister of State for Home, Sajjad Ahmed Kichloo and wife of former Minister late Bashir Ahmed Kichloo passed away today after a brief illness.
Her demise has been widely mourned by the cross section of society.
Governor, N N Vohra, in a condolence message, has expressed sympathy with MoS Home and his family and prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul.
National Conference president Dr Farooq Abdullah and working president of the party and Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah have also expressed grief and sorrow over the demise of mother of Sajjad Ahmed Kichloo.
In a condolence message, JKPCC chief and Member Parliament Prof Saif-ud-Din Soz said, “I express my deepest anguish at the demise of mother of Sajjad Kichloo. I pray to the Almighty God for peace to the departed soul and fortitude to the family to bear the loss”.
The Council of Ministers has also expressed grief and sorrow over the demise of Kichloo’s mother.
