More educational institutions celebrate Mother’s Day

JAMMU, May 9: More educational institutions celebrated Mother’s Day with fun and joy.
Mother’s Day was celebrated at Crescent Petals School. Tasneem Kouser Managing Director CPS was the chief guest on the occasion. A number of competitions were organised for the mothers. Renu Taneja, mother of Sannatt Taneja, Rukmani Jamwal, mother of Venika and Vikram Aditya, Payal Raina, mother of Adhyan Raina and Arti Devi, mother of Rishab Singh were declared winners of the competitions. Principal Bhavna Kaushal threw light on the importance of the day.
Chander Bhaga High School, Akhnoor celebrated Mother’s Day. On the occasion, students of Nursery to Class 5th showed their love and affection for their mothers by presenting colourful programme of fancy dress, poems, songs and dance items. Mothers also participated in fireless cooking and Rangoli competitions. Later, prizes were distributed among the winners by Principal Pawan Bhardwaj. In the end, Aradhna Mahajan presented vote of thanks.
Sai Shyam Public School celebrated Mothers Day. Principal Sarojni welcomed all the invited guests and interacted with them. Principal of Sai Shyam College of Education Dr Usha Tickoo threw light on the significance of the day. On the occasion counseling cum orientation programme for all mothers was also organized. Mothers also participated in the cultural items on the occasion.
Elite Public High School, Om Nagar, Udheywala celebrated Mother’s Day. Students presented speeches highlighting the importance of the day. Vice Principal Kiran Durani was also present. Students namely Shivangi, Vanshika and Vansmita wee awarded for their best performance in the competitions.
Mother’s Day was celebrated at Euro Care Pre School, Trikuta Nagar, Bablina, Administrator, Associated Hospital was the chief guest, whileas Harmeet Kour, MD of Harward College and Bala Gupta Director of Euro Care and Dear Mothers were also present. The children presented a skit which depicted that mothers have selfless love for their children. The students also recited poem titled “Mom You Are Best”. Ritu Beri, Principal of Euro Care highlighted the importance of the day.
Shemrock International School celebrated Mother’s Day. Celebrating the Motherhood with affection and love, all the mothers of Shemrockites shared their blues and emotional experiences with each other. Shemrock had arranged various activities on the occasion. Mothers also displayed their talent.
Vote of thanks was presented by Bharti Bhardwaj Director of the institution.
KIDZEE celebrated Mother’s Day in its Talab Tillo branch. Chairperson Santosh Mahajan and Managing Director Parneesh Mahajan threw light on the importance of the day. Few games were also organized on the occasion. Children presented self made cards as a token of love to their mothers. Mothers had also brought the craft items made with the waste material along with them. Shivani Gupta, Co-ordinator presented vote of thanks. Harvinder Singh Sihotra, Liaison Officer KIDZEE, presented gifts to the winning mothers.
To commemorate Mother’s Day, a singing competition was organized by DRS Kids at its Trikuta Nagar and Basant Vihar branches. In the competition, mothers participated with enthusiasm and presented songs in their melodious voice. In the end, Supinder Kaur, Principal presented vote of thanks.
Narulas–The First Step School celebrated Mother’s Day. The children presented various cultural items. Mothers also supported their children by participating in various games. Students also presented speeches on the importance of the day. Tanvi Narula, Principal crowned the winners.
DRS Kids, Bantalab celebrated Mother’s Day. On the occasion, various games and competitions were organized. Mother of Pari Jain stood first in musical chair competition and mother of Akshit Verma in singing competition. Principal Monika Sharma, MD Kapil Chib and Surinder Chib were also present on the occasion.
