SRINAGAR, June 4: The Shawwal moon has been sighted marking the culmination of Islamic fasting month of Ramadan and Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated tomorrow across Jammu and Kashmir and rest of the country.
It was 29th of Ramadan today and with the sighting of the crescent, the fasting month ended today and Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated tomorrow across Jammu and Kashmir.
Eid it being also celebrated across the sub-continent tomorrow while in Saudi Arabia and other Gulf countries it was celebrated today.
Eid prayers that are performed in open fields or prayer grounds will be held in Masjids tomorrow due to wet weather.
