JAMMU, Apr 2: BJP PM nominee Narendra Modi’s appeal across the nation has rattled the Congress-NC leadership in the State and this is evident from the vilification campaign unleashed against him by Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah and Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad.
It appears the Modi phenomenon has gripped the State Congress leaders. No amount of their misinformation campaign will mislead the people of the State as they have already decided to decimate the coalition candidate in Jammu province and Ladakh region.
This was stated by BJP candidate from Jammu-Poonch Parliamentary Constituency & State President Jugal Kishore Sharma on Wednesday, while addressing a largely attended elections rallies at Nallah Panchayat, Devak, Hathal, Sia, Teryadh, Mogla, Kalakot, Thata Pani, Brevi and Dharamshal in Sunderbani, Kalakot and Nowshera.
Appreciating the people for their enthusiasm and unflinching support to Narendra Modi and the BJP, Sharma said he has no doubt that the people across Jammu province would inflict ignominious defeat on the Congress candidates as the Congress has all along betrayed the trust of the people of Jammu who returned the Party candidates to the Lok Sabha twice in 2004 and 2009 hoping that they would promote the national cause in the Parliament and work for the redressal of the grievances of the people of Jammu province.
Sharma said that the Congress, instead of appreciating the support of the people of Jammu province to the Party, made common cause with the communal forces in Kashmir and caused an immense damage to the Jammu cause. Chander Mohan Gupta, Vishwinder Dev Sharma, Sushil Sudan, Adv Vinod Sharma, Capt Ramesh Lal, Dr. Mohan Lal Prashar, Dr Ashok Sharma, Jarnail Singh, Mulkh Raj, Sanjay Sharma, Bodh Raj, Sheel Sharma, Sunil Verma and others accompanied by Sharma.
BJP opened election offices at Gorkha Nagar and Narwal Panchayat today. The Party leaders including Vikram Randhwa later addressed election meetings and held a door to door campaign appealing people to vote for Jugal Kishroe Sharma and strengthen hands of Naridnera Modi.
