JAMMU, Apr 2: All India Working Committee Member of BJP Mahila Morcha, Sheela Handoo today urged the relief authorities to publish the list of the people on whose name the allotment of quarters was made at Jagti Township to remove the misgivings in the minds of the people.
Talking to reporters here, today Mrs Handoo said that in view of allegations leveled by the people against certain political activists of manipulating the allotments, the Government should get the entire process probed to put the record straight.
She alleged that on the intervening night of March 28 and 29 some people made forceful entry into four quarters and managed the entry of four families there.
She said that on inquiry these families named one agent on whose behest they broke the locks and entered the quarters.
She demanded a through probe into the matter so that the facts can come to light.
