He said Modi Government is going to change the entire developmental scenario of J&K in next five years as many public welfare decisions are on anvil in this regard. After abrogation of 370 and 35–A, the situation turned to normalcy in the erstwhile State in a shortest period of time.
Harshvardhan said that Prime Minister is very much particular for the development of J&K and upliftment of the poor people of this UT and many plans and programmes have been chalked out by him after discussing the same with his Ministerial colleagues during last six months. “In coming five years the entire scenario in the trouble -torn J&K will change and the UT will touch heights in the developmental field’’, he added.
He said almost all Union Ministers will visit the UT to unfold the developmental plans of their Ministries for the people of J&K. He added that alone his Ministry has sanctioned two AIIMS and 10 Medical Colleges for the J&K because our Government is committed to the development and progress of the UT.
The Union Minister regretted that the youth of the Jammu and Kashmir were misguided by some persons for their vested interests but the Modi Government has taken steps for their betterment. The entire scenario will change in this UT now and the steps taken by the Modi Government in this regard will go down in golden letters in the history, he added.
He said all the historical decisions taken by the Modi Government have divine consent because he is working with honesty, dedication and national mission. Narendra Modi is committed to serve the mankind and nation, he added.
The Union Minister said the Prime Minister has envisioned to make the New India by 2022 where every countryman will be happy and where there will be no problem of Naxalism and terrorism but there should be nationalism every where. “PM is going to build New India from Kashmir to Kanyakumari which will be followed by emergence of India as Vishaw Guru’’, he asserted.
He said Modi has become symbol of aspirations of youth before becoming PM in 2014. He has a spirit to serve the poor people as he understands their pain and agony. Soon after taking over as PM, he framed policies and programmes. He not only got them implemented through the Ministries but himself monitored them. His sole objective was to serve every Indian and give people benefit of Government policies and programmes irrespective of their religion, region, caste and creed.
Earlier Dr Harshvardhan declared Raina elected as the president for J&K for 2020-2023 term and congratulated him on behalf of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, Home Minister, Amit Shah and Party national working president, J P Nadda.
Addressing the rally BJP national secretary, Tarun Chug said that BJP is not father -son, mother -son or father -daughter party but it is the party of entire country and of every Indian where any person can rise from the post of booth president to national president.
He said Modi showed the world that BJP has will and commitment of abrogating Articles 370 and 35 A. “Those who arrested Dr Shyama Prasad Mookherjee had said “if Modi takes birth three times still he can’t touch 370. But I now tell NC patriarch and former Chief Minister that Narendra Modi has abrogated 370 as BJP is committed to nationalism’’, he added.
Chug said that BJP led Government at Delhi is fighting a decisive battle against the terrorism. “We have told Pakistan in unequivocal terms that in case it touches us we will cut their hands. After we did surgical strike against Pakistan the language spoken by Pak media and its Government was also spoken by some leaders in India’’, he regretted.
He said there are some politicians in the country who can’t digest where stone pelters have gone. They are also perturbed that why no militancy related incident is taking place, he added.
He asked why Congress leaders even father of Rahul Gandhi, late Rajiv Gandhi and Communist leader Sita Ram Yuchuri who are making a hue and cry on Modi Government’s decision on Kashmir did not visit Valley when lakhs of people belonging to minority community were forced to leave Valley. “Where their inner conscience had gone at that time”? he asked.
He said BJP is the largest political party in the world which has 18 crore members and unlike other parties it is working in a democratic way. BJP has inner party democracy and in this organization elections are held from booth level to national president in a democratic way.
BJP State president, Ravinder Raina while complimenting the party men for reposing faith and trust in him made a scathing attack on Congress and its leaders for dividing country on communal lines by misleading Muslims.
He also did not spare NC -PDP and lambasted them for boycotting the Civic Body and Panchayat elections in J&K. But it was BJP which stood like a rock and paved way for holding these elections. He also highlighted the achievements during his tenure as BJP State chief and took a pledge that he will come to the expectations of every party man and will not allow the sacrifices given by the partymen during last 70 years to go waste.
