Aiming at providing quality education to student community in the State, the Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed launched the ‘Model School Scheme’ by inaugurating the State’s first Government model school in Basohli.
This is a welcome move and needs to be appreciated . In all, 220 schools will be reshaped into model schools. Rs 16.50 crore have been set aside for setting up of smart class rooms and state of the art computer labs. The Basohli HSS was adopted by the CM during his previous visit. He is scheduled to inaugurate two similar schools in Kashmir valley soon. The scheme if implemented honestly and sincerely will go a long way in shaping the future of student community in the State.
