Okaying of OROP scheme, entirely meant for military personnel, who safeguard the borders of the country, remain awake when the countrymen sleep, care not for their lives where the motherland needs, isn’t only a step towards their well-being, but a thick gesture that emboldens their courage and heightens their morale. All beneficiaries under the scheme, particularly, the war widows, who lost their bread earners in different theatres of war, feel immensely indebted to the Govt and the countrymen who supported this holy cause of those who remain ready for supreme sacrifice regardless of their own discomforts and risk of life. The scheme, as enacted, is surely going to be a historically one, of the Modi’s period.
