POONCH, Dec 2: Eight year’s old minor girl was injured when a bear attacked her at Hayatpura, Mangnar village in district Poonch today.
Father of the injured girl said that at about 10:30 AM, she was playing outside her house when a bear suddenly attacked and left her injured, after which she was immediately taken to Raja Sukhdev Singh District Hospital, Poonch for treatment.
The injured minor girl was identified as Sabeena Akhter, daughter of Karam Din, resident of Hayatpura, Mangnar village in Poonch.
Doctor in DH Poonch said that the injured minor girl was provided treatment here and her condition was stable now, though she is still under observation. Meanwhile, family members of the victim said that they are very poor and urged the District Administration Poonch to provide them help for the proper treatment of injured girl.
