JAMMU, Nov 30: A minor died by inhaling some adhesive material, here today.
As per police sources, around 15 years old minor identified as Harjeet Singh, son of Ashok Kumar, a resident of Panchari District Udhampur was found unconscious near BC road and was shifted to GMCH where doctors declared him as brought dead. The minor had inhaled some adhesive material, due to which he died.
The body of the deceased minor has been shifted to mortuary of Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) Jammu for autopsy.
Bus Stand police has taken cognizance in this regard.
Police has appealed to the general people especially youth to stay away from drugs especially adhesive materials.
It is pertinent to mention here that inhaling of adhesive materials is injurious to health and leads to death.
