RAJOURI, June 25: The police seized a mini-truck and rescued eight bovines from it in Thanamandi area last night.
Official sources said that a team of Thanamandi police headed by SHO Javed Malik, during routine checking during last night intercepted a mini-truck bearing registration number JK11C /9104 naka point and found 8 bovine animals loaded in it.
Truck driver Mohammad Fareed, son of Maqsood Ahmed, resident of Treru in Kalakote was arrested. The bovine animals were rescued and vehicle was seized.
A case FIR No. 119/2019 under sections 188 RPC, 3 PCA Act has been registered in Thanamandi Police Station and investigation of the case started.
