JAMMU, May 3: Managing Director of JPDCL, Gurmeet Singh today reviewed arrangements for providing 24×7 power supply to Oxygen Gas Plants and visited SIDCO Industrial Complex at Bari Brahmana in this regard.
Executive Engi-neer, Sub-Transm-ission Division-II, Assistant Executive Engineer, STD-II, Assistant Executive Engineer, ED-II and representative of M/s RECPDCL also accompanied the MD.
The work for providing dedicated feeder to highest capacity oxygen Gas Plant RSS Gases was started on the instructions of MD JPDCL to ensure 24×7 power supply without interruption.
Explicit directions were passed by the MD to M/s RECPDCL on spot to charge the newly constructed 33/11 KV, 2×10 MVA R/Stn Birpur maximum by tomorrow so that two dedicated feeders for Valley Minerals Oxygen Gas Plant and Allied Gasses oxygen Gas Plant could be erected and commissioned by 7th of this month.
Gurmeet Singh also visited other two gas plants-RS Cryogenic and Kashmir Gases and found that power to these gas plants is stable.
He said that it should endeavour all the engineers of JPDCL to ensure 24×7 power supply to all oxygen gas plants under their jurisdiction and complete all associated works on war footing.
He also prayed for the employees of PDD who lost their lives to the deadly virus and for those who have been fallen sick due to COVID-19 and asked the employees of PDD to take precautions as they have to work 24×7 to ensure uninterrupted power supply for the people.
