JAMMU, Dec 9: Mayor of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), Chander Mohan Gupta here today conducted an extensive tour of Ward Number 32 at Talab Tillo and other adjoining areas.
Satpal Karlupia, JMC Councilor; Rahul Mehra, BJP Ward President; Geeta Sodhi, Reena Gupta, Rajesh Saini, Bawa Kumar, Sanjeev Kumar, Sham Krishan, Manu Kumar, Kavita Sharma, Bishnu Sharma, Sham Talib and a large number of inhabitants of Talab Tillo area were also present on the occasion.
During visit, the Mayor started proper fencing and development of Municipal Park at Susheel Nagar behind Jaswant Plaza along with establishment of an open gym with an estimated cost of Rs.7 lakh.
He directed the concerned Junior Engineer to execute the work with quality material on war footing.
Later the Mayor visited Municipal Transport Yard at Manda and directed the concerned to remove the defunct and broken vehicles from the area immediately and get it cleaned in order to avoid any mishap.
He also laid foundation stone for construction of Yoga Hut along with Ashok Khajuria Ex-MLC at Hanuman Mandir Manda.
The Mayor also started the laying work of tiles at Gali Mangotrian, Jain Bazar along with Vinay Gupta, District President BJP; Sunita Koul, JMC Councilor; Rajneesh Jain, Hari Om Sharma, Kuldeep Kandhari, Kamlesh Sharma and prominent leaders of BJP.
