Manohar accuses BJP of keeping silence on ministers

JAMMU, Dec 4: Former minister and senior Congress leader Dr Manohar Lal Sharma accused the BJP Government of its  complete silence regarding the exchange of old currency notes by its Ministers as reported  by the section of press and also agitated by the all political parties and other organizations in Jammu.
Dr Sharma said that there is great anger among the people against the ministers who were involved in the exchange of old currency notes in their official vehicles intercepted by the Police authorities as well as Income Tax Department but the Government seems to be  under pressure and  trying to hush up the case even after lot of hue and cry by all sections of the society.
Dr Sharma sought explanation from BJP lead Government that why they are shielding the ministers involved in black money and trying to exchange it with new currency notes. Dr Sharma demands either to come clear on the names of the tainted  ministers who are involved in black money exchange or accepts that it is a party with no ethics and having different yardsticks for their own people versus others while fighting against Black money.
Dr Sharma further said that the people are watching the misdeeds of BJP and its ministers who are involved in all type of scams and illegal activities but there is no authority In BJP who could dare to check their illegal activities, hence they feel free to carry on their deeds and jobs.
Dr Sharma advised BJP to work in actual to check the corruption and come clear with the people of country who  trusted once on their  promises of good governance and corruption free India. He said two and half years have been passed where are the Lokpal and  Lokayukt while RTI Authority has been made toothless, which was brought by the Previous UPA Government.
