SAMBA, July 3: Apni Party provincial president Jammu and former Minister, S. Manjit Singh today demanded round the clock power supply in Samba in the present harsh weather conditions of summers.
He was addressing a workers meeting at Rahya area of Samba district where the people highlighted their day-to-day issues regarding unscheduled power cuts, irregular water supply and delayed developmental projects.
Speaking on the occasion, Manjit Singh expressed anguish over underdevelopment and poor basic amenities in Rahya area.
He appealed the people to extend their support to Apni Party because of its developmental agenda that favours all the people.
The Apni Party leader said the Government should address the issues of under development and water crisis in Kandi belt.
He said that gap between public and the administration has widened and it should be filled by holding Assembly elections.
“With elected government in place, the public issues can be addressed by the elected representatives and the officers can be questioned for their delaying tactics,” he maintained.
