JAMMU, July 3: National Conference (NC) has flayed ‘Maha Jan Samparak Abhiyan’ launched by BJP for its achievements in nine years and has stated that it was nothing more than a farce and mockery of BJP led Government.
In a handout Rattan Lal Gupta, provincial president NC Jammu said that BJP leaders are going door-to-door in an attempt to connect with the people of J&K but instead of receiving a warm welcome, they are being confronted by the genuine concerns and questions of the residents.
Gupta asserted that the people are rightfully questioning BJP leaders regarding power crisis which remained unaddressed despite BJP in power for the last nine years at the Centre and the lack of regular water supply, despite funds allocated for Jal Jeevan Mission with an aim to provide tap water to every household.
“The vacant Government posts, shortage of specialized doctors, failure of Government to raise Border Battalions, lack of regularization policy for daily wagers and absence of action against those involved in recruitment scams are other issues confronting the people,” Gupta maintained.
