RAMBAN, Jan 17: A man was killed in group clash in Neel area, falling under the jurisdiction of Ramsoo Police Station.
As per police sources, two families entered into a clash owing to some snow clearance issue during which one person fainted and was shifted to PHC Ramsoo, where doctors declared him as brought dead.
The deceased has been identified as Mudasir Ahmed, son of Alab Din Naik of Neel.
On getting information, a team from Ramsoo Police Station rushed to the spot and arrested one person, who was identified as Mohammad Rafiq, son of Ghulam Qadir Naik of Neel.
After completing medical and legal formalities at District Hospital Ramban, the body of the deceased was handed over to family members for last rites.
A case under FIR Number 2/2020 under relevant Sections has been registered at Ramsoo Police Station and investigation started.
