JAMMU, May 2: Police today arrested a person along with 25 litres of illicit liquor from Chack Murar area, falling under the jurisdiction of Bishnah police station.
As per police sources, on specific information, police team from Police Station Bishnah led by SHO Inspector Surinder Pal Singh under the supervision of SSP Jammu Uttam Chand conducted a raid in the field belonging to Lok Chand, son of Chaman Lal of Chack Murar.
During the raid, police team recovered 25 litres of illicit liquor and arrested Lok Chand on the spot.
A case under FIR number 57/15 under Section 48-A Excise Act has been registered and investigation started.
