JAMMU, Mar 13: Bishnah police arrested a man for kidnapping two minor girls and committing rape with one of them.
A police spokesman said that, father of two minor girls namely Ram Lal of Patyari lodged a complaint with police station Bishnah that his daughters went missing since March 11.
After registering a case under relevant Sections, police started manhunt and recovered the girls.
During questioning, one of the minor girl alleged that they were kidnapped by Ravi Kumar alias Tillu, son of Natha Misri of Hirachack, Kanachak. She also alleged that the accused raped her.
On specific inputs, police team from Bishnah police station led by SHO Narinder Singh arrested the accused.
The girls were handed over to family members after conducting medical examination.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
