UDHAMPUR, Mar 20: In an apparent case of suicide, a man was found hanging from a tree near his house at village Nakki, Khoon in Udhampur, here today.
The deceased was identified as Madan Lal, son of Galodu Ram, resident of village Dodla, Tehsil Basohli, District Kathua, who was presently putting up at village Nakki, Khoon, Majalta. He was found hanging from a tree near his house under mysterious circumstances.
On being informed by some locals, SHO Majalta Kesar Singh along with a Police team reached the spot and took the shifted the dead body to PHC Majalta for the postmortem.
In this connection, Police have registered a case under section 174 CrPC for further investigation.
